Lavender Essential Oil
Lavender Oil, distilled from the flowering tops of Lavandula angustifolia, is one of the most widely used and beloved essential oils in the world. Known for its floral, herbaceous aroma and remarkable therapeutic versatility, lavender has been used for centuries in skincare, relaxation, and natural medicine.

· Top Notes: Light, fresh, slightly fruity, and clean.
· Middle/Heart Notes: Soft floral with herbaceous undertones.

Main Chemical Components:
· Linalool: (20–45%)
A terpene alcohol responsible for lavender’s calming and floral aroma. Known for its relaxing and anti-anxiety effects.
· Linalyl Acetate: (25–47%)
An ester that gives lavender its sweet, fruity scent and contributes significantly to its calming and anti-inflammatory properties.
· Lavandulol:
A minor component with antimicrobial and fragrance-enhancing qualities.
· 1,8-Cineole (Eucalyptol):
Found in smaller amounts; adds a subtle freshness and provides mild respiratory benefits.

· Terpinen-4-ol:
Known for antimicrobial and immune-supportive properties.

Lavender’s soothing properties are well-known. It helps calm the mind, reduce anxiety, and promote restful sleep. Ideal for use in diffusers, baths, or pillow sprays.
· Skin Healing and Soothing:
Renowned for its gentle action on the skin. It supports wound healing, soothes insect bites, sunburns, and minor irritations, and helps reduce redness and inflammation.
· Antimicrobial and Antiseptic:
Offers natural protection against bacteria and fungi, making it excellent for first-aid use and skin-cleansing blends.
· Sleep Support:
The synergy of linalool and linalyl acetate helps improve sleep quality and promote relaxation before bed.
· Headache and Pain Relief:
Lavender can ease headaches, migraines, and minor muscle tension when applied topically (diluted) or inhaled.

Used in aromatherapy to ease emotional stress, uplift mood, and provide comfort during times of grief or restlessness.
Spiritual and Energetic Use:
Lavender is often associated with purity, clarity, and calm. In energetic practices, it’s used to cleanse emotional blockages, promote peace, and support spiritual renewal. It aligns well with the crown and heart chakras, facilitating connection to higher consciousness and inner healing.
